The Herd This is where you start and make your characters. Please follow the form as it says and also the rules. You may not have more than 10 characters and can only start role playing after I have accepted your application. Do not start your character off with a position of Lord of the Herd or Lead Captain of the Outriders. Those positions must be decided by the current Lord Sub-board: Approved Applications |

Home Oak A great tree stands on top of a hill that overlooks the Great Lands. No deer knows how old this tree is and some say that Herne placed it there himself. Home Oak is usually where the Lord of the Herd and the Outrider Captains gather for council meetings and sometimes the herla will just wander here to graze. The Lord can be found wandering around these parts and the hill makes the spot great for Outriders to overlook the area for dangers. Around the Home Oak grows some odd plants that can be used for healing and in the time of the rut, the Lord's harem is around the oak |

Serenity Meadow A bit away from the Home Oak is a patch of peaceful grazing grounds called the Serenity Meadow. The hinds usually gather here to show their fawns the crickets or to gossip among themselves about the favorite stag. In times of trouble, it is the second place for the herla to gather, first being Home Oak. The Outriders would make their stand here if war breaks out. But in times of peace, the grass is delicous and flavorful so it is a favorite grazing spot |

Ancient Wood Surrounding the meadows of the herd's land is a forest said to be as old as time itself. The many different trees, some broadleaf and some conifers, are very large and their canopy stretches far across the territory. The stags will tend to stay away while their antlers are still standing proudly 'top their head, as to not get them tangled in the branches above. The cries of the wild wolf are faint and for the most part the land is safe. The forest floor is mossy without very many bushes, but there are a few clumps of ferns and thickets here and there |

Raven's Lake A small stroll away from Serenity Meadow is a small lake. One might say that its more of a pond than a lake but there are others who would disagree. No one really knows how it got its name but during the summer seasons, one might sometimes see a single raven circling the skies. Elders tell the fawns that the Lera are once again trying to communicate with the Herla but the Sacrifice to Herne cut the deer away from the rest of the animals. Small fish live in the lake and sometimes fawns will wade in the shallows to cool off their hooves during summer. Not many is sure just how deep the lake is but some think it possibly deep enough to drown a young herla |

Wistful Loch Outside of the Herd's lands is a stretch of green land. A huge loch stands here, supplying an almost endless amount of drinking water. A river flows into it, its source somewhere north. Mostly lone herlas and clovar such as roe and fallow reside here but it isn't extremely uncommon for a herd deer to be here |

The Sea Cerualean waves crash up against the shores of rock and sand everyday and the creatures of the sea reseide here. The water stretches as far as the eye can see and though on days it looks as smooth as land, a step will take the herla under. Otters and seals live here and they are perhaps the only creatures alive that still understand the tongue of the Lera but the Lera are too ignorant perhaps to respond. Sometimes man's carved trees could be seen simply floating on the water as if it were as solid as ground and some say that the sea holds secrets too dark to speak of |

The Highlands Cold and silent, the mountains rise from the earth like the fallen antlers of the forest god himself. Nearly always topped with snow, no deer had dared to climb these mountains since the days of Rannoch. Rumors say that the reindeer still live up in the Highlands but they and their ways have now grown distant from the red deer. Those who have braved the chill and journeyed through the eternal winter have often gazed at these spectecles, wondering in awe if Herne himself was really up there |

Ashened Dwellings Far away from the lands of the Herla lies a blackened patch of land. Almost no grass covers the ground here and instead, a thick layer of dust and grit carpets the place. Strickened shelters rise from the ground on either sides of the bare space and all of them seem haunted and blackened. It was long ago that the creat orange light turned against its human masters and consumed their dwellings in its wrath, destroying everything. Most Lera avoid this place but some have been known to take shelter here in desperate times of need |

The Circle of the Sun Even further away from the ashened place is perhaps the most mysterious creation of man. Twelve large boulders make up this place, a circle to the heavans. And at the center of this circle is a single stone, as tall as the rest. Most mysterious to the herla, many believed that it had something to do with contacting Herne as the shadows casted by the rising and downing sun play across the stonefaces in a manner most mysterious |
